This large Georgian living room (drawing room), with its grand appearance was too dowdy for our client who sought a more contemporary feel. Our room design incorporated a number of features including a new storage unit for vinyl records using the existing Georgian wall mouldings to minimise its impact, and stylish lighting to create a healthy ambiance. The roman blinds have a modern mechanism to assist with raising and lowering. The blue accents complement the artwork and create a coherent feel to the room, and the white cubic side tables provide simple support to the accessories.
