The clients were establishing a new estate agent office in Bath and wanted to create a coffee bar feel for the break out area in the office design. Coffee bars evoke a relaxed, happy environment, ideal for creating a positive frame of mind in a potential house-buyer. Previously a retail shop, this refurbishment transformed the space into a rich, vibrant working office with three main zones for agents to discuss options with their clients: at their high-quality desks; at the “breakfast bar”, soon to be equipped with a flat screen TV for effective sales presentations, and in the break out area itself. We were particularly keen to ensure that the look and feel of the office was consistent with the corporate identity, image and brand of the new business so worked closely with the marketing agency engaged for the task.

The office lighting design was crucial for both staff and clients, as was the creation of adequate and unobtrusive storage to keep the office looking uncluttered.  The complete office renovation took only a few weeks, once the office design was established and suppliers identified.
