Our first consideration is to see whether a simple, sensible solution would meet the need. If, in our opinion, a room could look great by re-arranging, de-cluttering, or by adding small, but highly-effective decorative changes, then we will say so. Sometimes it just takes a fresh, professional, and impartial eye to identify low-cost suggestions to achieve the required result.

Well established in the West Country, with a network of reliable tradespeople and suppliers, Nick has implemented interior designs over many years. That practical experience is key to finding a successful, stylish and functional design that really works and stands the test of time. Nick has also spent twenty years as a professional project manager, successfully managing elements of some of the UK’s largest projects, meeting key requirements within time, budget and with the required quality.
Trained
Nick attained a highly commended diploma from the Ivy House School of Interior Design. With his professional eye, colours and fabrics are blended appropriately; rooms are planned in a scale to match the property; lighting is designed to suit the required function and mood; all to create a stylish design that you will love to live with.

Unless so commissioned, STYLE WITHIN Interior Design is independent of any retail shop or supplier and so can offer interior design solutions from the extensive retail and trade ranges available.

Passionate about Quality
We take great pride in the quality of our design, our service and in the high-quality products we use. There is a wealth of exclusive fabrics and other products on the market, such as from Chelsea Harbour, not directly available to the general public. We tap into these resources through our network of trade contacts. Amongst others, we source fabrics from GP & J Baker, Mulberry, Romo, Sahco Hesslein, Harlequin, Kravet, Osborne and Little, Malabar, Parkertex, Brian Yates, Henry Bertrand, Zimmer and Rohde, Warwick and Designers Guild and have trade accounts with a number of these.
Open
Our policy is to make plain in advance all anticipated issues. Throughout any commission, all prices are identified as early as possible for you to budget accordingly. Larger projects are phased so that each subsequent activity is clearly defined and agreed before you need to make any commitment.
Well supported
We use skilled, reliable craftspeople, decorators and suppliers of the highest integrity and reputation. We also have links with a number of organisations and professionals who provide additional specialist advice, such as architects, structural engineers, hi-fi and computer system specialists. In particular, STYLE WITHIN Interior Design is especially keen to select art appropriate to the finished room scheme; if required, such art can be commissioned through our local contacts, following a full consultation.

Efficient
STYLE WITHIN Interior Design makes efficient use of time by searching for high quality products on the internet, before travelling to view them directly. Increasingly, the top end of the market, including the antique trade, is placing its goods on-line. They are also happy to e-mail or post specific photographs to speed up the selection process. We have a favoured list of interior suppliers lined up, which will save significantly on time, and ultimately on the cost of travel and price to the client.

STYLE WITHIN Interior Design prides itself on selecting door locks, switches, and other accessories appropriate to the "complete solution".
Just as keen on the finishing touches
We provide helpful advice on the less obvious things that may make a significant difference to the interior. Finishing touches such as flowers, table mats and general accessories also need to suit a room if the look created is to remain special.
