Originally two small spaces with kitchen and separate utility at the rear, and floors at different levels, STYLE WITHIN Interior Design created a single space, levelling the floors with matching, reclaimed boards from a local salvage yard. The aim was to create a more contemporary feel whilst avoiding an ultra-modern look. The hand-made units achieve this with simple lines and finish, coupled with brushed nickel door furniture in the kitchen, and painted wooden knobs on the dresser. Complete with granite work surfaces and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen looks smart and stylish for cooking, transforming into a warm, relaxing space for dining through flexible lighting and accessories.

This modern, stainless-steel, dual-fuel range complete with stylish cooker hood and bespoke glass splash-back provides a striking focal point for the kitchen.
This bespoke wine-rack is a neat touch, providing practical storage as well as a clean, balanced finish to the run of wall units.
Keen to exhibit her fine crockery in the diner, the Client asked STYLE WITHIN Interior Design to create a dresser in-keeping with the kitchen, but clearly separate. This was achieved by maintaining the unit design and colour, but using wooden knobs and a wooden counter instead of brushed nickel and granite. The result is a spectacular feature for the diner, with primary colours which reinforce those of the dining chairs.
Note also the vertical radiator: a pair provide substantial warmth whilst taking up minimal wall space.
