Our client in The Circus, Bath, had a diner which doubled as an office and led directly from the kitchen. It also accommodated an enormous fridge-freezer, so the space was not conducive to a serene dining experience. Our room plan created additional fridge capacity in the kitchen itself, using an under-utilised cupboard. We also designed and built a number of bespoke units to create stylish storage in-keeping with the Georgian interior. This included a large, free-standing computer storage unit with sliding doors and shelves to hide the office equipment when dining, whilst maintaining the home office functionality. We also designed and made the amazing glass breakfast bar, the shelf being fixed to the polished steel posts using the latest in ultra-violet adhesive technology, creating a perfectly flat surface for dining and cleaning. Notice also the contemporary carpet, understated yet at the same time a real feature of the room
