Home improvements for this 30s property in Bristol resulted in a bright and open feel with statement wall finishes to a previously dark and dreary space.
We redecorated the living room and stencilled the chimney breast in bright colours. Along with new carpet and bespoke alcove units to hide the TV and music system, the space was transformed.
In the hall we laid an engineered oak floor and fitted a startling monochrome runner to the stairs and landing with dramatic wallpaper on one wall.
Further home improvements came about when we were asked to remodel the basic conservatory which was cold and uninviting; the clients kept it locked most of the time, yet it housed the fridge freezer for the adjacent kitchen. We repaired the roof, insulated the walls, fitted double glazed windows and a back door. With additional heating, plumbing and electrics and with improved lighting, the conservatory became an integral part of the kitchen, providing the clients with a far more comfortable and useful addition to their home.
