Exotic Wallpaper

Be brave - choose something dramatic

Do you want to be more adventurous with your home decoration?  Try an exotic wallpaper.

If you’re nervous about using strong pattern, the best thing is to start with a small space, and see how you get on.  A cloakroom is ideal.  Here you can let your imagination take over without having to coordinate with any other room.  If that works, you can move on to something bigger.

Once our clients saw the samples for this cloakroom, they were hooked, searching the internet for even more options.  We produced a 3D visual to show the overall design, teaming Obsidian Green from Little Greene with an exotic wallpaper from Mind the Gap.  Our clients invite everyone to use the loo – whether they need to go, or not!

Another Mind the Gap wallpaper created the wow factor for a cloakroom in Bath.  In this case, a large mirror repeated the effect around the small space.  We tested this design with a number of different paints for the cabinetry, and our clients chose their favourite.  Funnily enough, Obsidian Green worked for them too, picking out the leaves in the pattern.

If you fancy a dramatic wallpaper for your home, you can order small sheets from suppliers and choose your favourite.  You can then design the space around it – create a sample board first to check that the wallpaper works with flooring and any paint finishes.  If that looks great, you can go ahead with confidence.
