Nick Prescott has a highly commended Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. With an Engineering degree from Oxford University and Masters degree from City University, he also has extensive experience as a project manager. Nick lives in Bath with his wife and two sons.

Style Within provides interior design and project management services, managing everything for you from design to delivery. Whether you are looking to refurbish a single room, build an extension or renovate a whole house, you only need to deal with us. Our services page provides more detail.
We design floorplans with lighting, flooring, heating, decoration, window dressing, storage, furniture, furnishings, fittings, home theatre … everything. If the exterior, garden and patio need attention, we manage that too.
We also oversee planning applications, building control and party wall agreements, as well as managing contractors.

Style Within or an Architect?
Generally speaking, an Architect will design an extension or remodel your home, adding generic shapes for kitchens and furniture. Our approach is quite different. We design the floorplan with you in detail using representative 3D models, adjusting the space as we go to suit your brief. Where you want the TV, whether you need ethernet, your preference for curtains or blinds, all influence the size and location of windows, doors, and radiators as well as sockets and lights. Fees and prices
Style Within is an accessible interior design company. We don’t charge exclusive rates but we deliver an exclusive service.
We publish our typical fees so you can see what we do and what we charge. Our interior design fees are based on the number and complexity of spaces to be designed. Our project management fees would be a percentage of the total cost of the project (typically 10%).
Our clients are obviously interested in the likely total cost of their project, so we dedicate several pages to indicative costs for home renovations.
