Windows
Replace double-glazed sash window: £1200 – £1700

Floor preparation
Fit ply to small bathroom floor ready for vinyl tiles – £380
Fit ply to large bathroom floor ready for vinyl tiles – £650
Fit ply to a medium sized bedroom floor ready for carpets – £300; this is useful for removing floorboard undulations. It also prevents dirt from being sucked through the floorboard gaps during vacuuming, creating dirt lines on the carpet.
Skirtings and picture rails
Skirtings – supply, fit and paint – 12 linear metres: £750 + VAT
Picture rail – supply and fit to bedroom wall: £210 + VAT
Picture rail – supply, fit and decorate: £400 + VAT
Dado rail – supply and fit in Edwardian hall and up stairs: £450 + VAT
French Doors in timber – supply and fit: £4000 + VAT
Folding-Sliding doors and windows complete (timber)
– supply and fit: £8900 + VAT

Oak steps
To design and fit solid oak steps with supporting frame beneath and pig’s ear handrail – £2200 + VAT
Other joinery and carpentry
Replace handrail, spindles, newel post etc in standard UK 30s house over one flight of stairs plus one landing: £2200 + VAT
Re-hand (swap sides) a door: £150 + VAT
Make and fit a timber shelf: £120 + VAT
Create new loft opening and fit new ladder: £1400 + VAT
