Interior designers are revolutionising the home office environment with innovative glazed partitions. These stunning architectural elements create flexible, light-filled spaces, balancing privacy with visibility. In this project, our clients wanted a quiet space for their business calls, whilst retaining a visual connection to the rest of the ground floor. A very modern home office in this period property.

Crittall-style glazed partitions
Crittall-style glazing is certainly on-trend in contemporary interior design. These sleek, industrial-inspired partitions offer maximum visual transparency while defining distinct functional areas. Crittall products are traditionally made from steel, whereas this Crittall-style design is powder-coated aluminium. Its minimal site lines allow large panes of toughened safety glass to flood the space with natural light. And you can have any colour you like.

Glazing options
Clients can choose between clear, frosted, or textured glass. In this previous project, our clients preferred frosted glass so they didn’t have to tidy up their workspace every night!
Installing a glazed partition
The space was originally a through-room so we created a bespoke opening in which to install the glazed partition. We also took the opportunity to fit new storage cabinets in the office, and a wireless access point to enhance ethernet connectivity – crucial for effective working in this thick-walled Georgian home.
Sliding glazed partition
Sliding glass doors create adaptable rooms with sophisticated, contemporary design without the confinement of a traditional door. Here you can read more about this pocket door installation.
Transform your space today
Interior glazed partitions are more than a design trend. They offer a sophisticated solution for flexible, beautiful living and a stylish functional home working environment. So, explore internal glazing for your home office and embrace this modern architectural innovation.
