For this bathroom installation, we knocked through from a separate WC to create a single space. Our senior client suggested originally that we simply update these rooms; however, was delighted when we showed that a single space would be much more convenient for her. Specifically, we would incorporate features that better served her particular needs.
Low maintenance bathroom
Most importantly, we felt that the space had to be accessed easily, with low profile shower tray, lever taps, plenty of light and other features; it also had to be easy to clean and maintain.
The blue glass shower wall avoids grout lines, and the wall-mounted WC and basin leave plenty of floor space accessible and easy to clean. Wall-mounted items also give the illusion of a larger space as more of the floor is visible. Electric underfloor heating provides warmth beneath wood-effect vinyl planks and two lighting circuits allow our client to have all lights on or just a few for night time visits.

Our client tells us that this design and choice of bathroom suite has made her life much easier; she finds the low profile shower tray particularly useful with controls easy to use.
She then asked us to redesign her hallway adjacent to the bathroom; you’ll find images from this in other parts of the website.
As a consequence of this project, our client has recommended us to a number of her friends and acquaintances and we have also now renovated her holiday flat with new kitchen and bathroom.
